A lovely day sailing on the bay yesterday with Kathy and Alan – the wind was about 8-10 knots – just perfect for hoisting up one of the two spinnakers that came with the boat. One spinny hasn’t seen the light of day for probably five years and has unfortunately delaminated – “flatlined” as Kathy quite aptly put it! The other spinny is smaller and was hoisted with no problems. We ended the delightful day with a few quiet ones aboard Blue Heeler joined by the crew from Thunder – thanks to Alan for the photo. At this stage we are planning to depart Brighton later this week – time TBA.
