A nice high to finish our trip with a great 24 hours sailing. The trip took 21 days – best day 155nm; slowest day (with drogue) 35nm. Overall, great sailing and great learning experience.

Congratulations. I’m still following your blogs, great writing. Would love to hear more about deploying and retrieving your JSD. Carried one for years hoping I’d never need to use it so any advise would be welcome, just in case, some day……………
Best,
Rob

Thanks Rob, good to hear from you. The JSD? Easier to deploy than retrieve. Took us considerable effort, two people one winch, plus we were hauling it in in rough conditions. Advice? Don’t deploy it and save your strength haha! Seriously, I’ll do a separate post on what we did as others might also find it useful. Stay tuned, cheers.

Hey Rob, I put together this couple of pages regarding the JSD. Hope you find it informative. https://blueheelerhr39.files.wordpress.com/2017/06/jordan-series-drogue-june-2017.pdf Cheers, Ally
